The Yoruba movie actor was born in the Mushin area of Lagos State but hails from Ogun State, Nigeria, Southwestern part of Nigeria.
Tunde Owokoniran Early Life and Education
Tunde comes from a polygamous family. He lost his mother at a young age, his father was unable to fund his education, and he had to discontinue his education after completing secondary school.
Tunde was desperate for work after dropping out of school. Fortunately for him, he joined the National Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ojuelegba and got a job as a bus conductor.
Tunde, as a conductor, could only get food for himself; he couldn’t get an apartment. In Lagos, he slept under a bridge.
Tunde eventually quit his job as a bus driver and became a trader. He worked in retail until his acting career began.
Tunde Owokoniran attended Mainland Children School for his primary education and attended Ijebu College for his secondary school education.
He proceeded to the Lagos state university where he studied Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. He graduated from the University in 2010.
